Xmas and New Years Videos
After many frustrating hours of messing about with video encoders I have popped up again on YouTube. Here are a few words about having social anxiety during Christmas and New Years. I talk about buying presents, giving and receiving them, family get-togethers, eating, parties and dancing.

Hello from the United States! What you said about sucking on crisps before eating them so they wouldn’t be crunchy reminds me of some of the extremes I would go to when I has Social Anxiety Disorder. I’d do practically anything to avoid attracting attention to myself or look “weird” to others. Once while out to lunch with a bunch of coworkers, a long single strand of my hair got caught in my mouth as I took a bite of something. I was so self conscious about it, not wanting anyone else at the table to discover I had my own hair in my mouth, that I acted as if nothing happened and continued to eat my food, pulling the hair in along with it as I chewed! lol
I hope everyone who reads your blog knows that it IS possible to get over SAD. I did, you did, and so can others. Nothing is impossible! Happy Holidays!

Hello Christine
Thanks for sharing, I’m sure I’ve done similar things. Well done for turning your social anxiety into social confidence. Happy Holidays to you too!
