This is interesting– I thought that having social phobia would necessitate also being an introvert. It must be very difficult to derive your energy from your environment and people (like an extrovert) and yet feel anxiety when faced with social situations. Whether you’re alone and bored or with people and anxious, there wouldn’t really be a content state of being for an extrovert with social phobia, no?

I’m an introvert and I have social phobia, but I kinda like hanging out with myself so it’s not all bad. :)
